  • The first time we came to St. Francis, the food was great, service was fast, and atmosphere was memorable. Last night, everything seemed to start off great. I booked a reservation on Open Table, we were seated immediately. After ordering, it was apparent that they were understaffed and the kitchen was running behind. I ordered the prime hanger steak with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables and my wife ordered the salmon superfood with quinoa salad. We shared the wood fired broccoli with aioli. After almost an hour, we finally got our food. My steak was luke warm, potatoes cold, and vegetables undercooked. My wife's salmon was piping hot, straight off the stove. The food was delicious, however, sub-par execution in service from both in house waitress and back end kitchen. At the end of our meal, my wife asked for a box for part of her salmon that she didn't finish. At the same time, our waitress dropped the check off without asking if we wanted anything further. Needless to say, I was unimpressed, offended, and will never return. Maybe it was a fluke, maybe it was because we were sitting on the 2nd floor, maybe it was just our server.
