  • It is crazy the difference in experiences I have had with this place when compared to all the negative reviews! I have been here three times in the last 2 years. First time was for shots when my cats were kitties. No issues, standard shots, everyone was very friendly and loving my kitties. The second visit was one my kitties had a fever. I was so worried that time, they were able to see her immediately which made me calm down. Once I was there, everyone was friendly and truly concerned about her. The vet gave a long examination and asked many questions. He determined she had a fever and we had to get her temperature down ASAP so we gave her a hydration injection and also did some blood tests just to make sure nothing else was an issue. I think the bill may have been $200-250 which may seem a lot but compared to some of the other animal hospitals in the area was a decent price. Besides, to have peace of mind and have my cats safe, I would pay a lot more. Today I went for a third time because I thought my cat (now 2.5 yrs) had a UTI. I called at 1pm and I was in at 2pm with an appointment. (By the way, they have free parking which is always a perk in the city) Everyone was friendly as always and I didn't wait a minute. The vet came in and was compassionate. He was able to make her urinate and took a sample to test for issues. The results came back (lab upstairs) in 15 minutes and she had crystals, which means she didn't need antibiotics. However, she needed hydration and to constantly flush out her system. They gave me a drip bag kit and demo how to use (have to use once a day for a week) and I bought a big bag a special food. Total bill for appointment, tests, food, and IV kit was $250 which I think is a good price considering everything that was done. I know it is expensive for surgeries (I ended up getting my cats neutered an hour outside of the city by my parents house because it is so much cheaper than Toronto prices), but for emergency care, when you can't plan it has been amazing. No complaints, only compliments!
