  • 2.5 stars from me. I think it's authentic but because of that it means super greasy and fatty as I've heard that's what Japanese cuisine is know for; marbling of the meats. It was good but sure if I will return. I came here with a friend of mine during a cold night and the condensation welcomed us in. Food: 2.5/5, we got the okonomiyaki DX with the hotspot sukiyaki. The oknomiyaki was a bit too "falling off" everywhere and the soup was too oily for my taste. It wasn't bad. Service: 3/5, the server was nice but a bit hard to understand. She was attentive but water service could have been better as the food was salty and we needed it. Ambience: 1/5, the condensation, the super small wooden seats and loud izakaya style is not great for dinner. It's an acquired taste. I think they were being too authentic and not fitting North American needs. Price: 2/5, I think it was about $20 per person; overpriced for what you get. It's ok but I think there are better Japanese joints nearby.
