  • When it's actually open, this is a rather nice Gateway location. Surprisingly decent array of snacks, batteries and beverages, though precious little else. Staff is friendly, prices are a bit high, but convenience factor is extreme... ...on weekdays. On weekends, good luck - I've never been able to figure out when exactly they're open on weekends - a few hours on Saturday and closed on Sunday? That seems the most likely option, but who would know. Also, they seem to close at around 6:30 or 7 on weekdays, so my en-route late-day-at-the-office caffeine fix has to come from somewhere else. They blow other area Gateway stores completely out of the water, which is not actually that hard to do, and exactly what you'd expect from one of the busier stations on the GO line. Sadly, it's about the only way that the Oakville GO station outshines its siblings.
