  • It kills me to give this place a one star bc I've been coming here for 2.5 years and they have always done an AMAZING job. Today was far from that. I dropped off a pair of men's shoes yesterday for a sole and heel repair. Something I've done in past. My fault for not verifying price, but bc I have never had an issue in past I took my claim ticket and left. Today I looked at claim ticket and it said $70. It took me by surprise bc just in nov I dropped off 8 or 9 women's pumps for heel replacement and sole repair on many and it was $106. The last time before that were women's Burberry knee high boots that needed a new zipper and soles replaced and it was $72. (I have my check stubs). And this one pair of men's shoes was $70?!? The "manager" said that's the price. Even when I tried to say it was inconsistent w previous pricing. He said he can't compare since the shoes are not here. He asked what I wanted him to do. And I just said be consistent. Listen they do an amazing job. And had it been same pricing in price for similar things then I'd have had no problem paying the money. But there are no prices posted anywhere. And he didn't tell me anything when I gave shoes. I asked how to reach owner and he said he can't give me that info. And then I asked him to contact him and he said he can't call him either. I either pay the $70 or they donate the shoes to Salvation Army. Instead of giving a break on the price and keeping a loyal customer he then started calling me stupid. I tried to call Scottsdale police and was told it's a civil matter and they couldn't do anything. So I gave a check for $70 to get the $250 shoes back. He threw the shoe at me and on my way out the door threw a shoe horn at my back. I of course put a stop payment on the check. I will never recommend them to anyone. And while they do some of the best work on repairs. This was horrible in every way. I got items thrown at me. I never called them names or threw things at them besides pushing something off the counter trying to catch my shoe Anyone who reads this and still goes. Discuss price before leaving ur shoe. And be prepared to not get anywhere if ure unhappy about anything. So don't even bother arguing w them
