  • 5/5 for food and 4/5 for service. A cute, unique place to take gluten-free friends, fans of fermented food, and lovers of authentic Italian grocery items (attached grocery store). The house gelato was amazing! Food: We loved the fermented sourdough crusts - they were something a little bit different, and added a kick to our pizzas. I especially liked the way the sourdough paired with the Mother Earth. We got the Mother Earth (as mentioned) with cheese (not vegan), the Mushroom Party, and the Fallen Angel. All three were really good - the Mother Earth was my favorite, while my husband liked the Fallen Angel. The Mother Earth was full of vegetables that are usually hard to find on pizza, such as broccolini, and the Fallen Angel was amazing, if you like fennel. The Mushroom Party was really good, too - it just seemed more like something you could find on a regular pizza menu. For dessert, we had gelato, which was SO good. They let us go next door to the little attached grocery so we could sample all the different flavors. All were good, and we ended up going with prickly pear, Meyer lemon, cherry amaretto, and pistachio (in different cups!). Service: Our server was friendly and saved our seats while we ventured to the grocery store. We had to wait fifteen to twenty minutes for our friends to arrive, and she didn't seem annoyed that we were taking up one of her tables (we didn't know that they'd be that long). She was very good about answering our questions, and pizzas didn't take too long to come out. It was a little squishy at the table, and it didn't really seem like there was enough room for all the food and for us.
