I was between a four and five star review about #PaulMartins however the gracious service of the manager, Clyde swayed me towards a five star review.
Our meal was fabulous, the waiters were knowledgeable of their way variety menu and offered prompt service.
We began on dinner by ordering a bottle of their Cabinet listed on their Happy Hour menu. The wine was fabulous but I forget the name of the wine. I like wine but I nowhere near a wine expert.
After the wine was opened we order a dozen of the mixed oysters. The oysters were received with mixed review. Some types of oysters were definitely found more tasty than others.
I enjoyed a delicious bowl of mushroom soup. I love mushrooms and my bowl of soup did not disappoint- bravo to the chef for this delightful starter.
My husband and sister both were happy were their choice of salads.
My entree was a mouth watering generous portion of tasty ribeye surround by creamy mash potatoes. An entree of fresh salmon was inhaled by my husband and my sister took delight in each bite of her New York Steak. The New York Steak was served with favorable cauliflower. We finished our meal with three bailey's coffees and several desserts. I am usually not a big fan of ice cream for dessert but the sea salt caramel ice cream lingered with favor.
The meal came to a close and the bill arrived. It was a pricey meal. However, every higher end restaurant is expensive. We all agreed the fabulous dinner was well worth the price. We will be back.
As a side note, the restaurant had a terrific vibe and good energy.
