  • While I was visiting Scottsdale, Sprinkles was located very near to my hotel, and I thought, "Why not?!" My friend swears it's an amazing cupcake, and I had just worked out so...I went in to see their selection. Unfortunately, as someone who does NOT like chocolate that limited my already limited "Sunday selection". Flavor: Carrot: walnut-studded carrot cake with cinnamon cream cheese frosting I took my first bite and was delighted and disappointed at the same time. Delighted because the cream cheese frosting was a sweet delightful treat and the walnuts between the frosting and cake were a great topping. Disappointed because the cake was very, very dry and thinking, "That's it?!" For 3.25 for ONE cupcake they should be tasty and moist. If you want more variety than your local supermarket, but don't feel like making it yourself-try them out. If you have a couple of extra bucks and/or what to impress someone with a "fancy" treat-try them out. I realized that this is just like buying a name brand white tee for $$ when you can get the same no-name tee for $. It's purely the name that causes the mark up. It's okay if you're in the area, but not something I will be going out of my way or waiting in a long line to get.
