  • A customer service, honesty and management failure. Monday is my service day. We had just had a heavy rainstorm but my tech came after it was over. I was thankful - at first. The storm was over and the pool was overflowing and needed a good clean. He couldn't see that I was sitting at the kitchen table. I'm usually not here or busy when he arrives. He had just been trained the week before. If I'm home, I'm kind enough to offer bottled water or Gatorade. No sooner than I stood to go to the fridge, he was gone! He tested the water, checked the chlorine floater and left! No vacuum, no basket dump, didn't even run the pool pump (standard at each visit). I called the company, spoke to Alex, explained what happened and he assured me someone would be by to clean it. The next day, nothing. No one showed up and no phone call. I called again and got Alex again. He didn't even remember the problem! I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, figuring maybe this tech did this to multiple folks. After reiterating the problem, he said the same thing and I got frustrated and asked for the manager. He put me on hold, came back 30 seconds later and asked if I would leave a message. I said no, I'll hold (on the third call, enough was enough). I finally got Megan, who explained/excused that the service manager was out due to family emergency and due back the following day. Okay, that bought them another day. Yesterday, at about eleven, the "service manager" calls and says "you wanted me to call?" They didn't even tell him what happened. I explained, for the fourth time, what happened. He tried saying it was raining. No, it wasn't anymore so that excuse is gone. He tried saying "oh, I'll have to look at his pictures". I told him go ahead, I had taken photos the minute he left without servicing the pool. Then he said "well, I will go talk to him and call you back". Four hours later he calls back and said the kid didn't remember anything out of the ordinary with my pool. A likely story. He then said he would be out later that day (yesterday) or this morning to service the pool. Well, it's 1:30 and I still haven't seen him and my pool is gross. My kids can't swim and were already unhappy about that Tuesday and Wednesday. Unhappy kids equals mad mom. You are being paid for a service you did not complete and are feeding me a bunch of hogwash to stall. I'm furious at this point. The pool service is part of my lease and I've been here three weeks. If I had hired them, they would be fired today. I have spoken to the property management company twice and I'm done dealing with Pool Agency. When I purchase my home in Phoenix, I definitely won't be using these jokers. I see all sorts of specials they have advertised. If you can't handle existing clients why are you trying to take on more? Oh wait - your existing clients are likely firing you by the dozen. You get what you pay for ladies and gentlemen. Use a better pool company. This one is hosed up. The only reason for one star is that I can't give a lower rating.
