| - This review might be a bit dated, since I haven't visited this terrible establishment since October, 2010. My regular pedicure place, Fabulous Nails, was completely booked, and now I knew why Professionail had vacancies.
I was about to leave for a beach vacation, and needed a quick pedi before I left. I had an ok service, but was a bit concerned when they didn't wipe the oil off of my toenails before applying polish. To my dismay, the next day all of my nail polish peeled off. I called the salon, and they indicated they could touch them up. I went in and got the few nails touched up, and then left on vacation later that afternoon (they didn't redo the nails, they simply applied polish over the half-chipped polish).
After my first vacation day, about 70% of the nail polish had just flaked off. Upon my return to Calgary, I visited the salon and explained the situation, anticipating they would offer me a free pedicure for the less than satisfactory service I had received. Instead, they completely ignored me, spoke in Vietnamese to each other, and finally after about 10 minutes of standing dumbfounded at the front of the "salon", I asked them what the verdict was. They were disgustingly rude to me, and refused any sort of compensation.
Save your time and money, and visit Fabulous Nails near the Safeway gas station!
