  • I live down the street from St. Lawrence market, and I'm in the proximity of several high end butchers. From Kensington to Leslieville and to the north I've tried them all. McEwan's is by far the best! And their prices have been fair/consistent over the years. Grass-fed beef & lamb as well as grain-fed when the variety is preferred. You just can't beat the quality and flavour of McEwan's meats. I also love the groceries but always prefer organic produce over the generic that seems to be the norm here. No one's perfect so I'll still give him 5 stars
