After many years of absence my wife and I decided it was time for a return to "The Steakhouse" at Circus Circus. We hadn't been there in quite a while. We were told to enter off of Industrial which we did. The back of Circus is quite disconcerting. The parking is a big bummer here! After a bit of a meander we found our way in and proceeded directly to the restaurant. Wandering through Circus is a big drawback for this jewel of a place but I am sure that mgmt knows this.
Once in we were immediately seated at a very nice booth. Water service and bread service was prompt and courteous. All of our servers were professional and welcoming. Now lets get to the food and beverage. I ordered a Martini and it was delivered cold and properly made. We also ordered a bottle of wine which was delivered promptly. Bread basket was average. Ceasar salad was excellent. Filet was excellent and properly cooked. Lamb chops were some of the best I have ever had. This place still lives up to its reputation! Pricing was fair, ambiance great, staff great. Lots of people in this place so go early. The Las Vegas tradition lives on here at "The Steakhouse".
