  • I can honestly say I'd never thought I'd be so impressed by a place that serves popsicles but Popbar is a lot more than you think it is. First of all I must say, what a weird concept from the sound of it. A trendy place where you can get craft popsicles and gelato pops tailored to your imagination. But this is exactly what Popbar is and that's why I'm giving it 5 stars. Not only are the popsicles great but you'll get to experience and try the weirdest combinations of popsicles, gelato, fudge and a whole raft of delicious toppings that aren't all just sugary nonsense. I stopped in and had the strawberry fruit bar half dipped in milk chocolate and covered in pistachios. At first I cringed in horror as chocolate was poured over my strawberry fruit bar in fear the combination would be awful but to my surprise it was delicious. The best part about Popbar is that its an innovative place that has things you can't get really anywhere else in Charlotte. Who knew I'd be such an advocate for designer popsicles! Will return.
