In the current foodie state of things in the Valley, there's a lot of really exceptional sushi to be found and at very reasonable prices. Sadly, Stingray doesn't rate super high in my book. The sashimi was by far the best thing we had at Stingray and I totally recommend it. Super fresh, melted in your mouth! The sushi was perfectly adequate. Fresh but nothing really noteworthy or thrilling to the tastebuds. Very small rolls compared to other Valley sushi establishments, particularly given the price point. Yummy cocktails, although at Scottsdale prices (and being a downtown Phoenix kinda gal, I'm not given to overpaying for equivalent cocktails, so "that don't impress me much"). Honestly, I was grateful someone else picked up the tab or I'd have been even less impressed.
