| - After just moving back to Cleveland/RR from Seattle, I was hard up for a decent coffee shop where could settle in for a morning or afternoon of working while sippin' some tasty caffeinated brew.
To be honest, the sbux in River, despite there being TWO, suck when it comes to spending large chunks of your day there. Granted, I may be spoiled coming from the coffee motherland of Seattle, but still, I was quite disappointed.
After a month or two, I finally tried Erie Island. A) Their Craftsman Blend is about as good as my sbux fave, Pike Place Roast. B) It's a completely awesome/perfect place to settle in for long periods. And C) I really like the idea of a newcomer that wants to bring the feeling of Rome and Seattle to the Cleveland area. Kind of stokes my C-town pride, which was severely pummeled upon "hey, let's see what's new" tour following our return.
So, I can honestly say, I'm a Starbucks fanatic who, after daily visits for several years was one of the first set of Starbucks Black Card invitees, has completely converted to Erie Island Coffee Co!
