| - WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! If I could give this company zero "stars" I would. Make sure you read the contract when it comes to delivery dates. My son's furniture was picked up on July 17 from Flagstaff, AZ, and it just arrived in Connecticut today, August 21 (over a month later). We were told to pick a delivery date, which we did, August 1st, but it wasn't even on a truck from Las Vegas to Connecticut until August 7th. It sat in some warehouse in Las Vegas until they had a full truck towards the East Coast. If this company has 7,000 - 8,000 moves a year, then why did it take so long to fill up a truck to the East Coast during a busy time for movers? First they charged extra for packing materials, but I must admit they did a great job packing up the furniture. Once the furniture was on a truck, we were told delivery would be in 6-7 BUSINESS days. It was over ten business days, and no one called to let us know what was going on. We always had to call or e-mail Oasis to get a status, and they were very slow in responding. Then we were supposed to get a call the day before delivery, but instead, my son got a call 15 minutes, yes that's minutes, before delivery! He had to leave a brand new job to go to his apartment to accept the furniture. Not a good way to impress your boss! All the driver could say was that it was "his bad". The truck could not fit in the driveway so they charged EXTRA again for having to walk the furniture over 70 feet! The driver also had the nerve to ask if he was going to get a $200 tip because the furniture was so heavy. Isn't that his job? To move furniture? Don't use Oasis Moving. We learned the hard way. If I could do this over again, I would use Angie's List or something similar to get a referral. I used them to move our son's vehicle and that went so smoothly.
