  • The one time I visited the Mayo Clinic was for review of back pain. The MD I met with examined me and basically told me that my issue was that I was just getting old. A year later, I had back surgery and a year after that I had a full hip replacement. I'm not sure I would approach the Mayo Clinic for treatment after my experience there. Yes, the facilities are wonderful and the staff is very helpful, but the prime reason I was there was for world-class therapy. I don't believe that I got that.
