| - I really want to like this place, it's right near my work so I go here all the time, but it seems like they keep ripping me off and I've just about had enough. The prices are expensive to begin with, but I try to shop the sales. The "final sale" items are an amazing deal but that's cuz they expire the next day. I should also mention that the 1 hot item + 2 sides deal for $9.50 (tax included) is a good lunch option - healthy, filling, and reasonably priced. Lots of choices and yummy salads and you feel like you did good for eating it. :)
However, my overall experience w/ this place is probably a low neutral. A couple times they've rung in my bakery items under the wrong code, for example today I got 4 pizza buns which they rung in under the wrong code, thus gauging me $1.20 + tax. It wasn't a big enough deal for me to go back, but I'll remember to use "self check out" next time.
And the other day I was there shopping a 4 for $5.00 frozen juice sale - the juices were mislabeled so I mentioned it when he rung them in. We walked back to the freezer where they were located (I guess there's no "price check" person on staff) and the cashier tried to tell me the sale was only if you get 4 of the same kind, so I did that, when he rung them up again, they still weren't coming up as the sale. We went back to the freezer a 2nd time to look at the stickers, at which point he tells me the juice (clearly labeled as part of the sale) was not part of the sale. I had to BEG for a manager, who made me (for the 3rd time) go back to the freezer to look at the juice, concluded it was mislabeled, and finally I got the correct "sale" price.
Other times I've seen sandwiches right next to each other with different price tags. Apparently the "whole wheat" bread is more expensive than white bread on an egg salad sandwich.
If it wasn't so convenient location-wise, and I wasn't addicted to their pizza buns I would probably avoid this place all together. As it stands I will let them continue to gauge me for my small change because their pizza buns really are the best thing EVER.
