| - As the world's largest replica of the real thing, the Eiffel Tower of Paris LV is pretty impressive on its own. While it's only half as big as the original, it's the one landmark along the strip that stands out on its own. When flying to France isn't an option, there is no doubt Las Vegas is a semi-worthy alternative.
Be touristy: The LV Eiffel has all the makings of a photo op. Attempt to trick your social circle with posed pics and staged angles to fool your gullible social circle. That's part of the allure after all, as many Americans may never get to see the real thing in France.
Be cheesy: There is a psychological ploy in all of this as well. Like the real Eiffel Tower, you can go inside and take in a sick view of the Strip. Some employees in the thing are actually hired from France for purely being able to delight folks with their authentic French accent. Over the top? It's Vegas.
Be hungry: Yes, there is a restaurant. It's name? The Eiffel Tower Restaurant: http://www.yelp.com/biz/eiffel-tower-restaurant-las-vegas. Original? No. Good food? Yes, it might actually be the best one in the Paris line up (which isn't saying much).
There are plenty of tourist meccas throughout Las Vegas Blvd, but the Sphinx of Luxor, Lady Liberty from NYNY, the lava pit of Treasure Island, and the Fountains of the Bellagio (especially when turned off) have nothing on the Eiffel. And in 'murica, it's EYEFUL, not Eee-fel.
