rev:text	We were looking for a decent Mexican restaurant to take out of town company to, near old town Scottsdale. This is New Mexican food rather than Mexican - but it was a perfect choice. We made a reservation for 7:30 on a Friday night, and I would recommend doing that as we still had to wait a few minutes before a table was free. It was a cold night, so we chose to sit inside, but we plan to return and sit outside on a warmer evening. There were plenty of people seated outside, under the propane heaters, even with outside temperatures in the 50s. We all ordered a house specialty, designated by a little bat on the menu (the cave/cavern theme is way overdone - but very charming nonetheless). We were all very happy with our food. I had the carne adovada that other yelpers have raved about and it was everything they promised. The portion size is very generous, so we had the leftovers for lunch today. Our dinner bill was $65 for 4 full sized dinners - very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. The reason for the 4 star review is that we bought drinks in the bar while we were waiting for our table, and I was surprised by the cost of the margaritas. They were $9 each, and in a standard sized glass, that the bartender didn't even bother to fill to the top. He mixed them fresh for us, so that must be why it came up short, but for almost $20 for 2, he could have made a bit more. Our waiter was great, too. I asked if the adovada was spicy and while he assured me it was not, he also offered to bring me a sample. I took him up on it.
