  • So I was at the annual Queen Creek Block Party and saw this truck from afar. Being from SoCal, I immediately thought: OMG Afters Ice Cream is here! I eventually found out it was not ice cream but some sort of filled waffle from Europe. Nonetheless I bought me some and I was in heaven! I bought the Pucker. It was a lemon filling with a raspberry compote. The flavors were spot on. No flavor overwhelmed another flavor. They went perfectly hand in hand. It was tart yet sweet but no heavy like what you would expect from chain breakfast spots. My husband, Mon and , I devoured them in a hot flash. And then there was the whipped cream. I always hated it. Then I went to Hawaii and had some that was homemade and was in love (see my review for Heavenly). I then learned to make my own and was sure no one would top me...Then I had Afters' and I will never be satisfied with my own. It was airy and delicate and perfectly sweet. This is by far the best desert I have had. I can't wait to have some more! I also found out they are a start up so I encourage anyone in the area to support them. It is truly worth the $6+ per order.
