  • This review is overdue (I'm still recovering from Las Vegas) and it's a two-parter. Part One is for the warm welcome I received at the front desk from the cheerful and helpful Catherine, who not only allowed me to check in early but found exactly the room I wanted (high floor). She set the tone for an amazing stay in an absolutely gorgeous and spotless room with first-class amenities. Part Two is for the unforgettable experience I had at the pool, where bartender Rebekah whipped up the best drink I've ever had (and I've had plenty): the Peach Slushie -- a not too sweet, peachy and boozy concoction with a hint of ginger beer. The whole bar crew was just as amazing. And the pool is fantastic! Red Rock is five stars all the way. Totally relaxing. Totally fun. My only complaint: they don't comp IPAs for video poker players (which seems weird because Green Valley Ranch -- a sister Station resort) happily does.
