| - The doctors are fine, Dr. Struble is nice.
The front office staff, and back office staff, however are not very enjoyable to work with. We had a negative experience where we had a office visit we thought was scheduled for a Saturday, we came in and to our surprise they said we missed our appointment (which they claimed was 2 days prior). I was with my 6 month old and 3 year old, both due for checkups. I did not recall receiving any calls, and explained to the staff that we clearly just have a miss communication, and no intent to miss appointments. Yet, even though we insisted this was just a mistake (maybe their fault, maybe our fault), they pressed that we pay a $30 fee for a no-show for both kids, so $60.
I spoke with numerous folks on the staff to try and explain the scenario. We have never done this before, the wasn't done maliciously, our intent was to be at our appointment which we thought was on a Saturday.
At the end, the office manager called me and said they will not waive the fee and I had to pay it. As a parent of 2 small kids, living in Arcadia, its too bad this is one of the only close to the neighborhood choices for pediatrics. We have often felt the staff was 'cold' and didn't foster a positive and warm environment, this just adds to the feeling.
