  • We exchanged some of our timeshare points to come to The Grandview for 2 nights. While we didn't get to use many of their amenities we were impressed with the list, which included room service (not common at timeshares), 5 pools (including one for kids), 2 fitness rooms, shuttles to the strip ($8.50 round trip), cafe on site, game room, and a small mini golf course. Great place for families! Good wifi. Note: $25 activity fee covers all of this. Location, location, location! Away from the strip. About a 15 min drive. Close to tons of good restaurants and shopping. Next door to SouthPoint Casino (16 screen movie theatre, 2 bowling alleys with 64 lanes each) and tons of dining options. (Skip their buffet, it was mediocre at best). You will need a rental car to get around. The unit was beautiful and perfectly cleaned. We stayed in Honeysuckle and the one bedroom was spacious enough for,us and out 2 kids. King size bed, jacuzzi tub, separate shower, dual vanity, full kitchen, and more. Modern decor without being gaudy. I would love to some stay here for a full week sometime and just relax! Also, In response to the negative reviews about timeshare presentations,... Get over it folks. You know what you are getting Into when you go to these. It's what you go through to get the free stuff. We did it here and it was no different than any others we have done. Say no, be firm. Have an "appt" that you can't miss 2 hours after your start time, and then insist you have to leave. It's their job to be pushy salesmen. But when you tell them you have no money, debt to pay, 2 kids to put through the college, and retirement to plan for.... They usually shut up!!!
