| - Where do I start...
Well, first off, the atmosphere is absolutely the most comfortable neighborhood bar and restaurant. Not only do you feel at home, but you feel that you are just hanging out with a bunch of friends at home. Between the friendly and most welcoming staff and the cozy rustic feel of the place, everyone should feel right at home in this iconic Williamson Street corner meeting place.
Next, lets talk food... while the menu is small, don't be discouraged. The menu has been perfected because of its quaint offerings. Every item has been well thought through and meticulously blended to make this place a go to for specific wants. For example.. if I want a rustic, deep and dirty burger that only the most daring person would eat yet savor every bite... I would say, Weary's Bad Breath Burger takes the cake. I would never think about piling all those ingredients together at home but I am sure glad the the cooks (geniuses) at Weary did cause it is surely a staple of the establishment. Another perk of the Weary is that their menu is as diverse as the neighborhood that it serves; vegan, vegetarian and carnivore all in one place.
Overall, I would say this is one of my near east isthmus staple restaurants and always comes up in conversation when family or friends come into town. So grab a friend or two and head over to Weary; grab a expertly crafted cocktail, beer or coffee and something to eat and enjoy the best energy one could wish for while enjoying a morning/day/night out with friends.
