| - I have loved Louis Vuitton handbags since I was a teenager in the late 80's, early 90's when I got my very first LV which I still have to this day. Usually before I go into a Louis Vuitton store, I like to do a do a little research online so that I know exactly what I want. And that is what I did days prior to coming here.
I walked in feeling confident, I knew what I wanted but didn't know the exact name of the bag. I was not greeted by anyone when I walked in, but it looked like most of the sales people were busy. I walked up to a gentleman standing behind the counter who was putting away a bag. I asked him if they had a catalog that I could look through and he said no and that they have an online catalog now. I said ok, no problem. I went on my trusty smartphone, pulled up the bag I wanted and showed him the photo. To be honest with you, I don't thing he thought I was serious about purchasing anything when I first went up to him. If he honestly wanted to assist me, I would think he would have asked me questions like what type of bag are you looking for? Monogram? Crossbody? Shoulder? But no, he didn't ask any questions. I had to find the bag I wanted myself on my phone. Yes, there are handbags displays on the shelves, but from my past experiences from other LV stores, not all their handbags are always displayed.
Anyway, he did show me the bag, and when I actually saw it in person, I wasn't sure if it was what I wanted, so he then showed me a couple of other ones. I ended up buying the original bag I looked at. He wasn't too helpful when I first went up to him but that changed after a little while.
I will always love LV but I think next time I will be going to one of their other locations.
