| - My mother continues to go to this store and I cannot get her to stop. The latest thing that happened is just ridiculous! My mother is older, so it is helpful for things to be fully explained to her. After her day at this location, she called me to say something was wrong with her car. When I got to the house to take a look, the emergency brake was on, and she never uses it so she didn't even notice that it had been used. That was the easy part...
We decided to take a ride to the store, while driving I noticed the engine was smoking. At first, I thought that oil might have dripped and was burning off, but that was not the case. When we got somewhere safe, we pulled over and I looked under the hood to see a rag that had CAUGHT ON FIRE!
I called the store manager, and I was not angry at all, but all he wanted to say was that they had replaced her radiator at no charge for the radiator or the labor. Turns out they broke her radiator when she went in for service, so they only replaced it because THEY BROKE IT. I tried to tell the manager what happened, he finally listened. I informed him I was just worried about the safety of the customers, and I was told the service associates would be talked to.
I'd like an apology to my mother... This is not the first time she has been treated poorly at this location, and I'm sure it won't be the last.
