This is a great place to go for island food! The place is like a little hole in the wall. When I walked in I didn't expect to see so many people. The place is literally just a small square. The girl that seated us was very nice. I ordered the chicken katsu and the teriyaki beef. It was very good. The quality of the meat seemed to be better than other island style restaurants around town. The chicken on the other hand was on the soft side. I guess you can say I like my chicken a little more "well done". (Hey, you can't please everyone! ) After I ate I ordered the "huapia cake". Unfortunately they were out of it. I was disappointed because my friends dessert arrived and then they told me they didn't have mine :-( I ended up ordering the "huapia ice cream pie". The cake was cheaper than the pie so our waitress charged me for the cake for the inconvenience of not having it. Let me tell you the pie was amazing!!! The creamy texture of the ice cream was so nice and rich. Is was really really good. It comes with nuts, honey and raspberry sauce drizzled on top. Over all, I like this place and would recommend it to my friends and family. I can't wait to go back and try the cake! Lol
