  • My good buddy and I dropped by Movies & Candy yesterday to meet with Trevor to talk movies. Little did I know, he had more than just Movies & Candy to talk and show us. Trevor was super knowledgeable about every movie he had in stock, especially Horror. And I LOVE horror movies. I was amazed at how many horror movies I haven't seen. I'm so used to just the mainstream ones that I forget there are a lot of indie filmmakers out there making horror movies as well. I really liked how the store gives you the old school feel, but still has all the new releases available for you to rent. There's nothing quite like coming into a video rental store and looking around to see what movie you want to watch. I know the people in this social media era have probably never even seen what a video rental place looks like because people these days are too lazy to even see the light of day, but for us normal folk, going to the video store was one of the most fun things to do as a kid and even as an adult because only fools don't like Movies & Candy. Hey, what do you know that's the name of the store! Truly appreciated Trevor's tour of his store. He even has a movie theatre section where you and some friends, or girlfriend, or mistress, or kids, or baby daddy, baby mama, or whoever. You can bring them all to watch movies, eat popcorn, candy, drink soda just like the movie theatre. Just plain awesome for the movie lovers and goers. I can't say enough good things about this place. So do yourself a favor, if you're ever in Vegas it's only a few miles away in Henderson, Nevada. Totally worth the trip. And for you hopeless romantics out there, you can add Movies & Candy as one of the coolest date places anywhere!
