| - They made a nice exception for my friends and me on a Saturday evening - we got a reservation for 6 on a round table and the party started off just right. I don't drink alkohol, but they have my favorite non-alcoholic beer from the Guinness Brewery: Kaliber! My friends got martinis, white wine and then the food: Halibut Steak, Salmon, crab cakes...Veggies, we tried almost all different sides...all are so yummy, but the 'gratin potatoes'....heavenly! The portions are just the right size; the whole presentation looks great and believe me: It is enough...and leaves just a little room for dessert. All ingredients are superfresh, most are locally grown and cooked to perfection.Prices are budget friendly for the value and that's why the place is almost always busy, it's a bit of a family affair place, the staff made "most" of your wishes come tru and is friendly, experienced and so lovely. We left our valet parked cars on the premises, drove just with one car (we were still somehow able to all squeeze into the truck after dinner !!) to the Flash light tour at the Botanical Garden -another birthday highlight, walking around there at night...but still a bit warm in August- and back to the Windsor, but this time to their sweet sidekick: CHURN...ice cream parlor and sweets store, and got our various favorites*, sat outside in the packed backyard und just had all together a marvelous time. Another delicious pearl on the Restaurant string in Phoenix. *...I tried the "Elvis" at Churn a few weeks later - you don't even need dinner before, all I can say: Salty caramel cream...Elvis is alive!
