  • If this place was only a dump, it would be OK. But the fact is that this "resort" is a catastrophe. From the 75 minute check in line because 7 desk clerks were not manning their posts, to the 25 minute wait for an elevator to leave because only one elevator was working, my one and only stay was a disaster. The one elevator that did work was rickety and the floor buttons had to be repushed several times. Rude dealers, inept management and smart-ass maintenance men made my stay miserable. In my first room, the air conditioning was not working and it 6 hours and 3 phone calls to the front desk before some idiot came up to check it out and tell me it was 'working fine" even though the thermostat showed 76 degrees. The safe was locked and it took another 3 phone calls before somebody finally came up to unlock it. The buffet food was old and cold. The ""refurbished rooms" are crappy and the hallways are dirty and old. The adult pool was $10 even after a $24.40 daily resort fee. The beds are uncomfortable and the pillows are tiny and hard. The best thing about this place is leaving. Do not cheapen your trip. It isn't worth the lower room rates.
