  • The food was really good but the service was slow. First, I'd like to know why it took us so long to try this place. As Las Vegas locals, we rarely think about eating on the strip. We had a staycation at the Delano and decided to do an all day event on the hotel. I did not want to leave the hotel to go anywhere or drive. It was getting later in the evening and I was getting upset because I was starving. I picked this spot based on review, I also called and they allowed my kids to dine too, and because Groupon gave me a generous credit. The decor of the place was very Victorian, so to me it looked a little dusty but it's ok because anything old should look dusty. (The place was not dusty by the way.) the lights were nice and dim and it was so red inside, so red it was so ridiculous like me, I LOVED IT! The chandelier was huge and it looked like it can tell a lot of stories. The kids had the Kobe sliders with fries. No truffle oil or anything fancy for them. They ate their food so I say it was good. My husband had the 20oz ribeye with mushroom risotto. He was in love! The ribeye was delicious, flavorful, every bite felt like it was melting in your mouth. There was also this broiled/steamed tomato on top of the ribeye that complimented the ribeye so well. I was expecting basic tomato flavor but I got a kick of sweet, tangy, salt and pepper. I settled for the short rib stroganoff and I seriously said, "OMG," with every bite. I get overwhelmed with the truffle flavor but this was PERFECT. We would come back here again, maybe without kids. Oh, the Sin of Blood is good too. I think that's the name of the cocktail.
