  • Capitol is one of the best boutiques I've been to. Period. Upscale, contemporary and niche-type brands (Lanvin Bridal is not licensed for sale in the States with the exception of two stores- this is one of them), Capitol was carrying denim from Textile Elizabeth and James before many stores had even HEARD of it, the selection of clothing, shoes, and accessories is extremely well-curated and the sales associates here are some of the friendliest and most helpful gals around (they will spend hours with you and if they don't have it in your size, will definitely try to track it down for you). Excellent sales as well- basically, this is catering to women with quality taste (it's seriously pricey but it's worth every penny) and those who are up to date on emerging designers. It's a NYC selection of brands curated for Southern ladies (don't expect to see bizarre, avant garde pieces here). All in all, I love it and will always pay a visit when with my gal pals in Charlotte!
