| - This week the Jolly Diners went to True Food Kitchen. We had appetizers of lettuce wraps with tofu which was absolutely delicious because they mixed little chunks of smoked tofu with peanuts. Heirloom Tomato bruschetta with some olive oil and some almond feta. Again absolutely delicious. My mom's entree was chicken noodle soup. My sister's entree was a mushroom vegetarian pizza, and my entree was a sandwich called the TLT. It had tempeh, guacamole, tomatoes, and it was absolutely delicious. Now the food was good, but that wasn't the best part of the whole experience. The best part was the service! The waitress was absolutely flawless. She was able to get me a Diet Pepsi and an order of french fries and even though the True Foods Kitchen doesn't serve those items, she went next door to a place called The Zen Burger to get the items that I wanted as a part of my meal. I was stunned because I've never had someone go to those lengths to fulfill my needs as a diner and a guest. We definitely recommend True Food Kitchen for anyone who wants a great meal with vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan menu options - but also fantastic service, a great atmosphere, with both inside and out dining, and some pretty good music. The Jolly Diners rate True Food Kitchen a 5 of 5. We couldn't have been more pleased or had a better time dining outside, under the water misters, with a nice breeze, and great food.
