Before coming to Glam-n-Glow I had on gel fake nails, that I ripped off myself after having them on for 2 weeks. My nails looked horrible, they were splitting and I had ripped off layers of my natural nails. I went to Glam-n-Glow hoping that they could make my nails look decent because I work in a professional environment. They were pretty busy so the girl who greeted me started doing my nails, she told me she could definitely help me and literally started transforming my nails with a dry manicure. No one has ever been able to tame my cuticles with a pushback tool (Not sure of the technical name!) and not cut them down as much as push them back. She also used a very fine buffer to buff down the damage I caused by ripping the fake nails off. Through conversation I learned that she was the owner, which I thought was amazing because she was doing my nails and I find most owners of salons do not really engage hands on. While doing my nails she (I wish I knew her name!) explained everything she was doing and gave me tips on how to get my nails healthy and strong, she also recommended a treatment but I told her I didn't have time to do it because I was on my break so she showed me a video about the benefits so I could choose if I wanted to get the treatment done next time without being the least bit pushy. When a nail tech, Elka, came back from lunch she asked Elka to help on my other hand (yep, my nails were that bad that 30 min later we were still on one hand!) because she remembered I said I was in a bit of a rush. Elka was equally as professional, skilled and knowledgeable as the owner. I walked out feeling confident in my natural nails, which I have never felt before. I highly recommend Glam-n-Glow and intend on going there for all my mani needs.
