I used SuperShuttle in Austin and thought the prices were fair ($13 per way, plus you can usually find promo codes online.) In planning my trip to Pittsburgh, I figured I'd go with SuperShuttle again since it's convenient, the bus drivers are good and I got a promo in my email for 10% off. I will be staying downtown and the SuperShuttle quote was $24 per way with the code for a cost of $96 total for me and my husband--not including tip. No thanks.
I got on Google Maps and found out there's an Airport bus (28x) that goes downtown where we'll be staying for $2.25 each way. I am a fan of SuperShuttle normally but I'm too cheap to spend that much on a shuttle.
