| - We went to olive and ivy on a beautiful late- Sunday birthday brunch. The atmosphere was lovely, very visually satisfying, me and my girlfriends sat on the patio with the surrounding of the Scottsdale canal, flowers and plenty of shade. I requested we ask the server, Valentino (sooo handsome) to assist us with a few items to share amongst us. We ordered the chopped salad, French toast, chicken pesto flat bread, Salmon bagel and bacon x 5 plates. We also drank mimosas, that were kept full, with decent champagne and the perfect OJ ratio. The food was average in taste and approach for common dishes, I would suggest more personality to it but it was enjoyable and satisfying none the less. Priced appropriately.
Valentino, our server, was very attentive, very knowledgable and had over all provide exceptional service to "4 Hangry females from Scottsdale and a birthday girl." He kept the table nice and clean, was very informative of the menu and concept and the thoughtful service was more then appreciated. Wonderful service!!!
Over all I rate this as a deserving 4 stars, because it was exactly what I expect from the name and location of this establishment. I will recommend for a lovely brunch spot and look forward to my return.
