My 66 Corvette power glide transmission was slipping. It had been rebuilt by a transmission shop in Detroit about a 1,000 miles ago. I took my car to Quality. They discovered that a key bearing had been left out by the previous rebuilder.
Therefore it required a complete rebuild. I received a call from Steve that the new planetary gear set was too noisy. Most shops would have left this as normal, but Quality insisted that they get another planetary gear set and rebuild my transmission on their dime to do it right.
Had a minor leak, on a seal later. Quality quickly fixed this while I waited.
Highly recommend them for transmission work especially if you have a vintage vehicle.
