  • I know, again, but hear out... I stopped by this store yesterday to pick up more of the gorgeous 6" ballerina ornament set that the Christown Spectrum store did not have. The petite ballerinas are high-quality and dressed in stunning real-fabric costumes with various signature poses. Released by "Holiday Time: Women Owned" for $1.94 each. According to their website, there are 6 pieces in the collection (based on costume colors). I found gold, white, pink, & black at Christown and wondered whether this Bell Rd store had more. They had purple/turquoise (which is a little bigger petite than the Christown ones?) so I got that one. That means I now have 5 and not all of 6. So I imagine based on Walmart's stock, there was supposed to be either silver or royal blue as the 6th. It's a common expectation to check other stores in your area to complete your collection because some stores either didn't get them in stock or are sold out. I'd like to pass praise to front center help Rae and John (older gentleman w/ white hair, beard, baseball cap). I called them the day before and Rae helped me locate what the store already had in stock that the Christown store didn't have, and she even called Christown and also the new MetroCenter store to double check. She couldn't get ahold of Christown (either didn't answer or disconnected her 3x's), and Metro told her they didn't carry in stock (Rae even stated she knew someone who worked there). The following day when I stopped by, John told me he recalled the conversation over the phone the day before and led me to Rae at Help Center. Rae walked over to the aisle with me where the ornaments were stocked and also mentioned their trailer full of more boxes by this brand (Holiday Time) that may need more stocking or even re-stocking. As she told me this, a male associate (baseball cap) stopped by and saved time by offering to scan the UPC codes on the shelves to double-check whether they'd be getting more (i.e. silver or royal blue?) and announced that they weren't. So, I told them I got 5 so far and was satisfied ;) Talk about stellar customer service. Thanks! However, where is that elusive 6th ballerina, if she even existed... The store was clean and the layout was warehouse-style but pretty much organized where you are bound to find something you needed or wanted. And, the customers were polite and smiled, as well, and didn't look too bad- must be the demographics- or the holidays approaching ;)
