I was walking by when I noticed that this joint has cheese tarts. I could use me a snack... decided to try it out. Turns out these cheese tarts are huge!
It's cool, no reason I can't get one for home to share. After I paid for the tart, the girl at the counter was ready to drop the rules for them. Don't shake um, don't tilt um, and don't cut um... oh... ok...
Never occured to me that I shoulda ask how exactly am I supposed to eat this thing until I'm staring at it at home... sure is beautiful though... Decided to cut it... Oops... the insides leaked everywhere. I quickly scooped the cut slice of pie crust and the cheese ooze into a bowl. The rest of it I tilted onto it's side and kept it in a bowl... welps... at least I didn't shake it...
Anyways. The crust was a little thick around the top, but the filling easily made up for it. It had a really nice cheese flavour, and was super creamy. Better than Uncle Tetsus IMO. With that said, I saved another piece till next day in the fridge, and it was not as good. Maybe because I ate it cold, but I found that the flavours were a bit muddled.
Tips: Eat fresh and ask how the hell you're supposed to eat the damn thing!
