  • I can't believe how many 5 star reviews are on here. Yelp has failed me for the first time in ever! I tried this place 3 times in about 3 months I started this review in Jan and thought I'll wait.....give it one more try 3rd time's a charm right, it's not, at least in this case. This was from my experience back in February. I had faith Yelpers! We had a reservation at 8:15 we arrived at 8:17 I know a couple minutes late, but the parking was not convenient, and it took us a minute to walk over there. We gave the girl our name, and waited. and she told us we could wait at the bar, unfortunately my mom cannot be at a bar for personal reason, so we declined, but there was no where to sit or wait. after about 10 minutes I asked when we would be seated and the girl told me 'when we have a table' and told me I could wait at the bar, for a third time now; and at some point the manager walked over and told us we could wait at the bar, and we were in the way; but we couldn't be at the bar and there was no where else for us to be. Well we finally got seated when we started discussing going somewhere else by this time it's 8:45. So Much for reservations. Then there was the awful service, we sat for another 10 minutes before the server came over to get our drink order, and rushed through the specials. and treated us like we were bothering him when we wanted to order an appetizer. Once we did that we didn't see the server for another 15 minutes. And only after I went to the front to ask if he could be sent over because we wanted to order. Finally we did, the manger delivered it, and asked how everything was. So I told him it was a bit disappointing because of what had happened. He said he would take care of our appetizers for this inconvenience. I asked for fresh grated Parmesan for my gnocci but they don't have that. I thought is was a pretty common thing to ask for in a nice Italian restaurant. Well the food was good, not great, definitely not worth the wait and lack of customer service. At the end of our meal the manager ended up not taking our appitizer off the bill. I thought he must have forgotten considering it was extremely busy. So I told the server he asked the manger and came and told us the manger didn't tell us that. I asked if I could speak to him after waiting another 15 minutes just to speak to the manager he came back and told me there was nothing wrong with their service and he wouldn't be taking anything off the bill. This is what made me decide NEVER again. I didn't ask for anything or expect anything, but don't tell me you're going to do something and then not do it. Especially the manager. Aren't the employees gauging how to treat customers based on their treatment of customers. I did call and complain the next day. But still nothing. No invitation back no offering to give us anything. Nothing but we'll look into this....great.
