  • Horrible experience! Let me start by saying I will never EVER buy another product from La-Z-Boy. We went into this store in Charlotte to buy a couch - possibly a sectional. We ended up buying a couch, loveseat (all with power reclining), 4 pillows, two ottomans that transform to a table (as our coffee table), a rug, a rug pad --- and we were talked into a lifetime fabric protection warranty for everything. We were pushed by the saleswoman, Virgie, to the point that she even discounted an item in order to make sure she sold us the fabric warranty! Then we were asked to make an appointment for the interior designer to come out to make sure everything worked with our living room size, style, etc. and that they'd give us an extra 10% off everything! I was thinking "well, yes, with everything we purchased we definitely need to save 10%!" Well, not only did we not receive our 10% savings but once we received the ottomans they were WAY too small for the space and did NOT work with our style of home! We wanted to return them and buy something else. We talked to our saleswoman, then received an email from the manager, Allison, saying we could not return a "custom ordered piece" but that she would gladly let us purchase another coffee table at a discount! "Really?! What the heck are we going to do with these ottomans that don't work after your designer suggested them?" Well, we were never told that upfront! I would never have trusted in a company like this and in the designer had I known that NOTHING from our order was guaranteed (what happened to customer satisfaction?!)! I'm sorry but the designer missed the mark for the design on this one! With all of our current and past purchases from this company you'd think they would have worked with us a bit on those ottomans. Shame on them! I'll never work with La-Z-Boy EVER AGAIN!
