I like this place, but I really wanted it to be so much more. I was hoping it'd be similar to the Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia, but the space is so small, there isn't room for much unless it's allowed to expand into the warehouse.
I want to be able to come here for fresh produce from the area - not just the heirloom tomatoes and wild mushrooms. Granted, I love the artisan meats and cheeses, and heirloom veggies, but does this place really need to be so upscale? It's not a place I can shop weekly because I don't always need homemade marshmallows - even if they are amazing!
I find myself coming here more for gift items than for mysel. I just hope this catches on and expands to be more of a full-service type market.
