We were walking in the area and decided to pop in for lunch. We have heard from a few different people over the years that this is a great lunch place. I ordered the Singapore noodles with Tofu and he ordered the squash curry with tofu. They offer your choice of mild, medium and/or hot heat in your dish. The restaurant is in an older building, but it was clean inside. There's not a lot of parking in their lot, so you either need to find parking nearby ($) or walk quite a ways to get there. There were 3 other tables occupied. My dish was ok. Not great though. The ramen stye noodles were not done enough and the veggies saved the dish for me. There was a nice variety of veggies to make it work. The tofu was pretty bland and I couldn't really taste it. His curry dish came with white sticky rice. The sauce had a hint of smoke in it. This smoky flavor really pulled the curry out in a big way. Nice sized pieces of squash and eggplant in this dish. I've been to a lot of places in Madison for noodles. This may be farther down the list of places that I would get noodles again. I would return for the curry dish though. The service was quick and we were out of there during a lunch break.
