I'm terribly disappointed. Let me just say I probably go to Starbucks 3-4 times per week and have never had a bad experience. I've had drinks made wrong here and there, but They are always more than accommodating and resolve the issue right away. I have always equated Starbucks with consistency, your drinks are consistent, service is consistent and the time you wait is consistent, give or take maybe 5 mins. I have never waited more than 10'mins for a cup of coffee, even at some of the busiest Starbucks in the world.
Until-- Today- I went to this Starbucks. I placed a mobile order at 9:35am. I get it, it's a busy Saturday, but at 9:50 when there is no sign of my coffee I begin to ask. "We're busy" was the response. By 10:05 I'm annoyed. The response I got then was "a 10 drink mobile order came in before you. That's the crap shoot of mobile orders..." by 10:10 I just can't wait anymore and ask for a refund. At 10:12 I walk out (37 mins after placing my order) with a refund, yes. But no coffee and not so friendly service.
I'll give this new location 6 months before I try it again. But I'm disappointed that they would open without the proper training and staff we have all grown to count on at Starbucks.
