We had reservations for a special dining experience for our 20th wedding anniversary this week. A family member had spoken highly of this establishment. We arrived on time and were seated only after a few minutes of the employees working the shift discussing an issue at the entryway desk. Robert was our server and he was nice and polite. I was shocked by the condition of the beef we were served, gristle and tough prime rib which we had to wrestle to cut, $29. How can a baked yam be $8? The baked potato was so overcooked and dry. The lobster chowder had a nice look but only a few actual lobster bits in the center of the huge bowl. The chopped salad was wonderful. The creme brulee was superb. I find it funny that the salt and pepper grinders are placed on the farside of the large round table, out of each of our reach. How could you possibly be the place rated "Las Vegas NV number one steakhouse" ??? This was the worst spent $150.00 SHAME ON YOU Austin's Steakhouse. -10
