Junior golfers look elsewhere.
The front desk and "Concierge" (and I put those in BIG quotes) and check in staff is like a bunch of teenagers at the mall. They are just there to take up space and annoying you. Inconsistencies were everywhere. We are told that no one can bring drivers. OK. I'm fine with that. But I see about 5 bays with hackers swinging their drivers. I inquire about the obvious inconsistency with 2 different staff members and their response was "oh I'm sure the manager will tell them to stop. There's nothing we can really do about that."
But they insist I walk my clubs back to the car and stow my hybrids. REALLY? My son who is 4 wanted to use his driver so he hit a whopping 30 yards. Nope she said everyone is held to the same standards. OK robot...but did you just tell me there's NOTHING you can do about those guys using their drivers???
Dont' claim to be junior friendly when it's the complete opposite. Golf is a dying sport as it is...let's find a new way to make it even less appealing for them. The definitely should revisit their junior policy to something that makes common sense. Anyone under 10 can use their driver doesn't seem that out of the world to me. And adhere to the rule you "impose". I saw at least 3 other kids with their drivers and no one telling them to put it away. When we finally got to our bay, the "concierge" guys said "I woulda let your little guy use his driver...the rule is totally stupid." And so I'm thinking...oh so the rule is dependent on who sees you walk into the door. Take my advice...sneak in your drivers all you want. I should have.
The waitress service was nice and prompt. Food was better than expected. Facility in top condition. Too bad junior robots run the front.
