I don't know where they get their mini cakes from, but they're dry and disappointing. Saving grace was their eclair, which wasn't bad.
It is a nice cafe with about 8 tables, saw some people working alone, and and you could have a meal here because they have those kind of items, but I haven't tried.
Drinks are ok. Their espresso had a lot of crema and seemed proper though. It is more of a menu-on-the-wall casual cafe than Douce France, which is more intimate and it's one of those cafes with the menu at every table.
It's either this place or Douce France or the reliable yet chain-y places (Second Cup, Starbucks, etc.).
