| - Been wanting to try this place for a while and finally made some time to come here for dinner with a friend. We were greeted as soon as we entered and immediately got seated.
You have a choice between sitting at the low bar and the high bar and we decided to go with the low bar. Beware, the chairs make a loud screeching sound if dragged on the floor. There's also a few televisions to watch while eating.
The decor is simple yet very unique. There are various pieces of art on the north wall done on usps boxes.
I decided to get the yojie cut, shabu shabu pot with ponzu and swisher dipping sauces, and brown rice. This also comes with a little bowl of vegetables and noodles, which was pretty much 2 slices of carrot, some onion, udon noodles, thin glass noodles, one piece of broccoli, one large mushroom cap, two cubes of tofu, and some lettuce. I would've preferred some more veggies and meat.
For drinks, I got the tiramisu blend hot tea. It has a very unique savory taste to it, which I enjoyed. The refill came in this contraption where you place on top of your cup and it'll pour out of the bottom.
Service was great, the server explained everything clearly, mixed garlic and green onion into our dipping sauces, and we were often checked on to see if everything was ok.
