  • Cleanest gym I ever been a member at Maybe it's because there's practically no meatheads or "lunks" here, but this is a nice place to get a pump or sweat going. I've been a frequently attending member for the last 10 months, and have gone at all hours (it's 24 hour), and i've never had a problem. (i attend 5 times a week, not to brag, just stating the basis for review). It's busiest time seems to be between 4pm-6pm, the after work hours for people trying to get a quick sweat before going home. I'd say that 2/3's of the people going to this gym are using the cardio equipment. Less than the remaining third are lifting weights, and a tenth of that third are big buff guys (just some extra info for the shy beginners out there). There is disinfectant spray and paper towels that are impressed upon the members to use after every machine's use. It's never "too loud" and the Lunk alarm (that is supposed to go off whenever someone's being too lunky- obnoxious, loud, rough, rude, etc). No big sweaty guys grunting and throwing weights. I've only ever seen one super ripped along the sides tank in all my time there. Everyone seems polite and non-intimidating. Even the high school student staff seem non-judgy, if such an oxymoron can exist. Cleaning is good, but not as great as i'd like it to be- but i also have next to impossible cleaning standards for everything. It is still the cleanest gym i've ever been a member of, and I'm comparing this to Lifetime Fitness. there are 2 sets of every free weight weight that increases by increments of 5's, all the way up to 65's. There are guided weight stations that can be used for bench or squats. Free weights and bench/squats are the busiest during the busy hours. There are only 4 stair climbers, and an incredible amount of every other type of cardio equipment out there. Too many treadmills, too many cycles, too many ellipticals- really it's massive. There is a stretching room and some girly equipment room- isolated for a feeling of privacy i suppose. There's also a 30 minute workout room and an abs room- both are regulated with a traffic light that dictates when you start and stop exercising, depending on what type of work out machine you are on. Overall, it's a cool place to achieve any type of workout goals you might have.
